TOGA PARTY AT THE PENN MUSEUM
Location: University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology

Take a journey through time at the Penn Museum. Experience insightful collections from around the world and across time. Dine in the magnificent Rotunda, dance amongst ancient statues, and challenge yourself with games, puzzles, and activities. The Penn Museum invites you to this unique Penn tradition.

In the spirit of the night, all are invited to dress in the garb of the ancient world—from togas to pharaohs to gladiators to goddesses. Throughout the night, the DJ keeps it hot upstairs, music and dance groups perform downstairs, and the scavenger hunt lures you into gallery after gallery. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes and the scavenger hunt winners.

Explore our newest exhibition Ancient Egypt: From Discovery to Display, which follows the journey artifacts take from excavation to storage to research and conservation, on their way to museum display. Chill in the newly renovated Middle East Galleries. These renovations will be the first in a series of transformative gallery renovations taking place at the Penn Museum over the next several years. In November, the newly renovated Africa and Mexico & Central America Galleries will open, so come back for the Penn student gala and opening weekend celebrations.

To learn more about the Penn Museum’s history, collections, exhibitions, research, student events and student opportunities, visit www.penn.museum.
Location: Penn Museum (3260 South Street); Enter through Warden Garden across from Franklin Field. With proud support from the Undergraduate Assembly
