We would like to say a big thank you to those who attended the Open Day for SH16 Brigham Creek to Waimauku Safety Improvements - Stage 1 Huapai to Waimauku. 

More than 60 people visited us at the Waimauku War Memorial Hall last Wednesday afternoon/evening to talk to our design, construction and communication team members. 

Information shared and discussed included:

  • Design features
  • Safety information
  • Construction overviews of works, work hours, timings and impacts
  • Traffic flows and detours 
  • Utility works
  • Turnaround bays and how they work
  • Wire rope median barriers and their replacement
  • Access to side roads

We also shared information from the Northwest Rapid Transit and Supporting Growth teams.
