Headwaters Community Wins National Gold Nugget Award

Last month, RVi client and developer Freehold Communities took home a coveted Gold Nugget Grand Award from the Pacific Coast Builder Conference (PCBC). The Headwaters master planned community won top honors in the Best Indoor/Outdoor Lifestyle for a Community category, edging out many other projects from across the country. The PCBC is the national’s largest regional conference and trade show for the real estate development field. Patrick Smith, Director of Landscape Architecture and Dennis Tonsor, Director of Planning traveled to San Francisco to accept the award along with other members of the project’s design and development team.

Annie Vos Selected for Valley Leadership Accelerate Class of 2018

RVi is pleased to announce that Annie Vos, Designer in our Tempe office, has been selected for the Valley Leadership Accelerate Program, Class of 2018. The purpose of Valley Leadership is to train and connect leaders in the Phoenix metropolitan area. In particular, the Accelerate Program is designed to nurture emerging leaders in the community, providing them with an overview of pertinent community issues and connecting them with those who are working on solutions. The three-month curriculum focuses on helping participants find their purpose and mobilizes them to have an impact on the community.

As a Designer, Annie works in the production side of planning and entitlements. She has amassed a broad range of experience working on large and small projects nearly every corner of the Valley, including Tierra Verde East in Surprise, Sky Crossing in Phoenix, and Stonehaven in Glendale. Annie’s passion for creating excellent built environments lies in their potential to foster connections between people and to encourage an appreciation of the natural environment.
