PCP Change of Major applications due 4/1
If you are considering switching majors within PCP you must submit an application by 4/1. As a reminder, PPEA U2s moving to P1 in Fall 2024 also need to submit a change of major. If you're trying to log into Examsoft and it's telling you your password is wrong, your Examsoft account probably still has you signed in under USciences as the institution and you need to change it to SJU. To do that, click to add a new account and type ‘PCP’ for the school for it to come up as ‘Saint Joseph’s University Philadelphia College of Pharmacy’. Then it will ask to authenticate you through the Nest. If you have any issues please reach out to Dr. Bowen (jbowen@sju.edu) and please make sure you download any exams ahead of time to be able to troubleshoot any issues that may arise. PharmD Study and Testing Strategy Session
The Learning Support Team and Office of Learning Resources partnered to develop a study and testing strategy improvement session. The session is open to all P1-P3 students, but will be especially helpful for P1 students getting ready to start iPSDT modules.

DVSHP is holding an industry night on Tuesday, March 19th starting from 5:30PM. 3-CREDIT ELECTIVE/INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY: Pharmacy History & Museum Practice
Offered fall 2024, the PHILADELPHIA-AREA INTERNSHIP COURSE allows pharmacy students to spend 10 hours a week working with the team at the Marvin Samson Museum for the History of Pharmacy, located on the UC campus. As a student intern, you will have to opportunity to research and care for historical pharmacy and college artifacts, create collection photography, and curate installation and interactive displays. Students will deepen interdisciplinary skills including: critical thinking; creative problem-solving; and information synthesis, presentation and communication. JOIN PPA's Pharmacy Advocacy Series!!! Event 2: GRASP Workshop!
Do you want to become an effective advocate for the profession of pharmacy and learn more about the legislative process and advancing of pharmacy? Come to PPA's GRASP Night on Tuesday, March 12th at 2pm in STC 137. GRASP (Government Relations Advocacy for Student Pharmacists) is intended for preparing student pharmacists to become better advocates, communicators and leaders in the profession of pharmacy. The Delaware Valley Society of Health-System Pharmacists (DVSHP) has arranged an exclusive meeting in which local pharmacy students will have the opportunity to present a 10-minute platform presentation on a clinical topic of their choice. The meeting will take place on May 14, 2024 at a restaurant in Center City, Philadelphia. You are invited to present!! Not sure what to present? Contact your school’s faculty advisor for guidance. GPPA Scholarship Opportunity!
The Greater Philadelphia Pharmaceutical Association (GPPA) Scholarship Committee is looking for applicants for their GPPA Scholarship Award!
The GPPA Scholarship Award supports the mission of GPPA by promoting the academic pursuits of Black/African American students currently enrolled in Pharmacy school who exemplify our organization’s mission to contribute to the education and healthcare needs of the Black/African American community in the Greater Philadelphia area. This $1000 award offers financial aid to two Black/African American pharmacy students pursuant to their terminal degree of Doctor of Pharmacy at an accredited college of Pharmacy. The scholarship recipient should provide evidence of awareness and engagement with health issues within the Black/African American community.
