Study Warns Against Mouth Taping Trend

A new study by researchers from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Lawson Health Research Institute and London Health Sciences Centre warns that the viral trend of mouth taping during sleep poses serious health risks – especially for people with sleep apnea – and offers no proven benefits.

Schulich Researcher Uses AI to Tackle HIV

Schulich Medicine & Dentistry researcher and bioinformatician Abayomi Olabode is working on an algorithm to help scientists classify HIV's constantly changing strains, supporting the development of more effective and accessible vaccines and treatments.
