Extension to one way traffic management system Weedons Ross Road: north of SH73 West Coast Road

We have reviewed our design and construction methods, and have eliminated the need for a total closure of Weedons Ross Road, north of SH73 (we referred to this possibility in the last project update). However, this does mean an extension of the current one way traffic system - see map below - by two weeks until Friday 25 November.

During this time, we'll be rebuilding Weedons Ross Road between SH73 and Westview Crescent (south).

We're aiming to complete all work on this section of Weedons Ross Road before Christmas so that we don't have to return to it next year, except for final surfacing work.

We’re sorry for any disruption and thank you for your ongoing patience.

Traffic impacts

There will be no access onto SH73 West Coast Road from Weedons Ross Road (north). Please use the signposted detour route via Halketts Road.

Our friendly staff on site can also assist with any queries. Footpath access around our work site will be maintained. A 30kph speed limit will be in place so we can keep our workers and everyone safe.

Driveway access

Access to properties and businesses will be maintained. However, we may need to work in front of driveways from time to time.

We will try to give you plenty of notice of this. However, if you need to get into or out of your property or business, and we are in the way, please just talk to one of our friendly staff and we will make sure you can use your driveway.
