I hope this message finds you well and ready to dive into an exciting year ahead. Just a reminder that our monthly RTC meeting will take place tomorrow, March 17, (St. Patrick's Day) at the West Hartford Town Hall - Room #400 at 7pm.
Meeting Agenda Highlights: The agenda for the meeting is attached, but I want to call your attention to a few key items:
March Trivia Night Planning: We have had to cancel our March Trivia Night due to a venue issue. We will discuss alternative venues for the future.
State Central and Municipal Election Updates: We are searching for delegates for the State Central Convention. We hope to be able to vote on delegates at the meeting or discuss a vote in the future before the April 15, deadline for the State Central Convention, which will take place on May 13. We will also provide updates and discuss candidates for the Municipal election in November.
RTC Survey: We will discuss results from the RTC survey.
St. Patrick's Day holds a significant cultural and social importance in America. Orignially commemorating Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, the day has evolved into a vibrant celebration of Irish heritage and culture. Across the United States, cities decked in green come alive with parades, festivals and gatherings that showcase Irish music, dance, food and tradition. It serves not only as a moment to honor Irish contributions to American society but also as a unifying cultural event that brings communities together in joyous revelry and solidarity. St. Partick's Day in America embodies the spirit of true diversity and inclusivity, fostering a sense of shared heritage and celebration among people of all backgrounds.
