An interesting grammatical discussion is how to exactly spell that short-sleeved crew-neck cotton piece of clothing that many of us wear day in, and day out. Is it T-shirt, t-shirt or tee-shirt? ■ While I think t-shirt looks nice, we spell it T-shirt, since the name derives from the shape of the garment. Like V-neck, or an A-line dress that has the shape of an A, not an a. Who has ever seen a T-shirt in the shape of a t? ■ Years ago we had a reader in Canada who would send an email every time a new issue of Fantastic Man had come out, listing all the spelling mistakes he’d discovered. We disagreed with most of his findings, but just so you know, we do care about a certain mistakelessness. ■ As for our T-shirt above, that’s still available through Arket and our own website, and it’s limited edition so be quick!
