Individual Announcements

• 2020 Pathfinder Omid Bañuelos joined Amazon’s Litigation & Regulatory group as a Corporate Counsel.

• 2013 Fellow Bonnie Lau will be hosting a Gender Competition Roundtable discussion with ABA.Women.Connected highlighting the many ways in which gender bias impacts professional women in law and economics.

• 2021 Pathfinder Veronica Nauts joined Meta as Lead Counsel for the Platform Enforcement and Litigation group.

• 2021 Pathfinder Shannon Prince provided legal analysis on Court TV on the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard case. She was also featured on Twin Cities PBS discussing the impact of George Floyd's murder on the legal system. 

• 2021 LCLD Fellow Serena Agaba Rwejuna was presented with the 2022 Duke Law Alumni Association Young Alumni Award. Serena is the second Black woman to receive the award in its history.

• 2015 Pathfinder Ashley Southerland joined Homeward, an early-stage health tech company working to deliver care in rural America, as Deputy General Counsel. 

• The Association of Corporate Counsel’s Houston Chapter and The Texas Lawbook awarded 2015 Fellow Travis Torrence their annual Achievement in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award, which was presented as a part of the 2022 Houston Corporate Counsel Awards. Travis was also profiled in the following article in The Texas Lawbook. 

• 2022 Pathfinder Vanessa Tussey won the 2022 Daily Business Review Florida Legal Award in the "On the Rise" Category.
