Today's CalendarInternational Student Help TableHouston Hall, Main Lobby | 9:30am-3pm Just arrived on campus? Have all your questions answered here at the international student help table! ISSS advisors and our PHINS will address any concerns regarding where to go and what to do. The New Student Resources Fair will also be in Houston Hall. Immigration Essentials and Integration Support from ISSSMeyerson Hall B1 | 9:30am-10:30am A session designed to help you navigate life at Penn with confidence as an international student by learning about immigration policies and integration programs. Whether you're new to Penn or looking to make the most of your experience, this session will provide practical tips and insights to help you thrive both inside and outside the classroom. International Students Seeking Employment in the U.S.Meyerson Hall B1 | 11am-12pm Gain valuable insights into finding on-campus and off-campus jobs, internships, and full time employment while understanding key work and immigration regulations. Connect @ Penn: Chat with Current StudentsARCH, Room 208 | 11am-1pm For new international students, come meet some international PHINS and get introduced to your fellow international classmates! Hear international students talk about things they wish they knew before starting their first year at Penn and network with upperclassmen! [MANDATORY] International Student Info SessionMeyerson Hall B1 | 1:30pm-4pm This mandatory information session will introduce students to staff from International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) and its key immigration services and integration programs. It will also feature members from the Assembly of International Students (AIS) who will talk about life at Penn as an international student. President and Provost's First-Year Family Welcome College Green | 4:45pm-5:30pm First-Year families join President J. Larry Jameson and Provost John L. Jackson, Jr. at the steps of College Hall. NSO Movie NightCinemark University City, 4012 Walnut St | 7:30pm Relax with your fellow new students and enjoy a free screening of either Spider-Man: Brand New Day or The Odyssey. Both films begin at 8pm, so grab some friends, find a seat, and enjoy a fun evening at the movies.

TAP Phase 2 Goes Live in One Day!TAP Phase 2 will go live tomorrow, on Wednesday, August 19! Your in-person attendance at the mandatory NSO events are required during Phase 2. Failure to attend mandatory NSO events could result in a registration hold placed on your student record, and you'll be unable to register for your Spring 2027 courses. Dining Café Hours For Tuesday, August 18Dining café hours are serving meals for Penn students and families throughout the week of NSO. The schedule can be viewed on the Penn Dining website. The options for today are listed below. Lunch: 11am Hill College House, 1920 Commons, Kings Court English House (Halal available), and Falk Hillel (Kosher available) are open 11am-4:30pm. Lauder College House is available until 6pm. Dinner: 5pm Hill College House, 1920 Commons, Kings Court English House (Halal available), and Falk Hillel (Kosher available) are open 5pm-8pm. Lauder College House is available until 6pm.
