State Highway 2 Hutt Valley

Kaitoke, north of Twin Lakes

  • Sunday night, 8pm – 4am  
  • Southbound altered lane layout for guardrail repairs

Birchville, between Plateau Road and Norana Road 

  • Monday night, 7pm – 5:30am 
  • Stop/go traffic controls in place for chipsealing
  • Tuesday and Wednesday, day and night
  • Altered lane layout for chipseal compacting 

Brown Owl, between Norana Road and Akatarawa Road

  • Sunday night, 7pm – 5am 
  • Altered lane layout for tree maintenance around power lines

Upper Hutt, between Whakatiki Street and Silverstream 

  • Thursday nights, 9pm – 4:30am 
  • Road CLOSED north and south for paving, maintenance and intersection work 
  • Sunday to Wednesday night, 9pm –4:30am 
  • Northbound road CLOSED for paving, maintenance and intersection work

Moonshine Hill Road Intersection

  • Monday to Friday, 8am-3pm 
  • Altered lane layout for Moonshine Hill Road and SH2 Intersection upgrade project

Belmont, north of Owen Street

  • Monday night, 7pm – 4.30am
  • Southbound altered lane layout for streetlight pole replacement 

Tirohanga, Grounsell Cres Side Road CLOSED

  • Sunday night, 8pm – 5am
  • Northbound sideroad closure for Omexom project

Dowse interchange to Melling interchange CLOSED

  • Thursday nights, 9pm – 4.30am
  • Northbound Road closure for paving

Petone to Ngauranga

  • Monday night, 8pm – 4am
  • Southbound altered lane layout for drainage works

Ngauranga to Petone

  • Monday night, 7pm – 5am
  • Altered lane layout for tree maintenance around powerlines
 

 

SH2 Remutaka Hill Road

Remutaka Hill Road CLOSED

  • Sunday to Thursday night, 9pm-4am 
  • Closed for maintenance work 
  • Book an escorted crossing here
