19 March 2024

In a message of encouragement shared with the church in the lead-up to Easter, LCANZ Bishop Paul Smith reminds us that 'We are made people of hope by the cross and empty grave of our Lord Jesus Christ. But this hope is not simply being positive or wishful thinking. This is living by faith in the one who takes the sin of the world upon himself and, therefore, puts us right with God by his own death as the sinless one.' Read more

As we embark on bringing love to life at the LCANZ synodical convention this year, we are inviting members to join a new churchwide program of offering pastoral care to our sisters and brothers in Christ. Consider applying to be a pastoral carer. You will receive full training. Applications close 31 March 2024.
We also invite you to watch a video from the College of Bishops presenting a message of hope in times of change, uncertainty and anxiety, and share it with others who are seeking guidance and hope as we prepare for the General Synod and the decision on the Way Forward proposal. Please find a time to show this during or after a worship service.
