Queensland Country Towns Shine Bright at 2025 Top Tourism Awards!

Queensland Country has once again proven itself as the place to be, with a number of its charming towns recognised in the 2025 Queensland Top Tourism Town Awards.

Announced this week by the Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC), the awards celebrate the outstanding visitor experiences and passionate communities that help put Queensland’s towns on the map.

Three Queensland Country towns have taken home top honours in their respective categories:

🏆 Toogoolawah – Silver, Top Tiny Tourism Town
🏆 Kilcoy – Bronze, Top Small Tourism Town
🏆 Stanthorpe – Silver, Top Tourism Town

The town of Miles was also acknowledged as a finalist in the Top Small Tourism Town category.

Peter Homan, CEO of Queensland Country Tourism, said the awards are a testament to the dedication, creativity and community pride that drive tourism success in the region.

“These accolades reflect the genuine hospitality, scenic beauty and unique stories that make Queensland Country so special. Congratulations to Toogoolawah, Kilcoy and Stanthorpe for their well-deserved wins, and to Miles for proudly representing our region as a finalist,” Mr Homan said.

“A congratulations also goes to all the towns across Queensland that were recognised this year. It is fantastic to see so many communities striving to deliver unforgettable visitor experiences.”
