Applications are now open for community groups, businesses, and organisations who are interested in holding a stall on October 11.
Turn Recycling into ReadingLane Cove residents returned an impressive 9.5 million eligible drink containers through Return and Earn between July and December 2025, generating around $954,375 in 10-cent refunds. Now, those refunds can make an even bigger impact. Simply nominate to donate your return to the Smith Family by 18 October, and for every 30 eligible bottles or cans donated, Return and Earn will provide a book to a child through the charity's Learning for Life program. The statewide campaign aims to raise $200,000 to help more children access books and educational opportunities.
