Final Sunday closure at Lemon's Hill
SH11 at Lemon's Hill will be closed to all traffic this Sunday between 8am-5pm.
This will be the final Sunday full closure as the team removes the remaining trees and installs a culvert.
From Thursday 14 June, Lemon's Hill will open in both directions each night.
And, subject to completing the necessary work, we are planning to reopen Lemon's Hill in both directions all day and night from Saturday 16 June.
There is still work to be done to repair the road, which means reducing traffic back down to a single lane again for a short time from mid-July.
This will allow us to complete the curb and channel works and to install road side safety barriers.
We will write to you again in July with an update on our programme of works to complete the SH11 Lemon's Hill slip repair.
