CASEY BUSINESS AWARDS 2024
We're doing things a little differently this year. Finalists of this year's awards program will be surprised with the exciting news in-person at their place of business, one category a day for five days.

PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

GRANT APPLICATIONS OPEN
Grants up to $50,000 are available to help support your ideas to help our community to:
- Protect and improve our city's native vegetation
- Improve our community's climate resilience
- Increase renewable energy uptake
Applications close 22 September 2024.
CHANGES ARE COMING TO OUR BINS
The State Government is introducing a fourth bin for household waste and recycling by 2027.
Help to guide us in our delivery of a user-friendly waste service, for residents and businesses, by completing this survey - plus, you'll go in the draw to win a $100 gift voucher!
The survey will close at 5.00 pm on Monday 16 September. You can also provide your feedback in-person at an upcoming pop-up event in August and September.
CHANGES TO COMMERCIAL STAMP DUTY
Starting 1 July 2024, the State Government is progressively abolishing stamp duty on the total purchase price and replacing it with a more efficient Commercial and Industrial Property Tax based solely on the land's site value.

The City of Casey's Councillor elections will be held this October 2024. We strongly encourage all eligible voters to enrol and vote - voting is compulsory for all enrolled voters.
If you do not live in the City of Casey, but pay rates to Council by owning or occupying a rateable property, you can apply to become a Council-enrolled voter.
