Asset Management Data Standard

The first release of the AMDS is now available

The first release of the standard is now available on the AMDS Website. This includes inventory along with maintenance faults and conditions.  

We will continue to receive feedback by email on the release of version 1.0 of the standard and will review and incorporate changes as part of Tranche 1 implementation, with updates to the release occurring every 4 months.

The standard continues to be developed, with future phases being released as identified below.

For new phases, these will be released as a candidate release and circulated for feedback. We will continue with the four-week review cycle before incorporating feedback into the next release version.

AMDS at the RIMS 2022 Forum

The AMDS team participated at the 2022 RIMS Forum last week in Palmerston North. 

Preparing for the start of implementation of AMDS and the release of the first version of the standard, AMDS SME Elke Beca from WSP provided an overview of implementation activities and Data Standard development, and what this means for the sector. There was a lot of interest with several questions from the audience.

Company-X did a stellar job participating in the speed networking session, running through Data Migration activities as part of AMDS implementation, with great interaction from participants.

Fantastic opportunity to keep the momentum going and to meet councils, suppliers, and vendors in person.
