Summer Reading Club winners
Waverley Library would like to give a big congratulations to all the participants in this Summer’s Summer Reading Club. Our Grand prize winner, Eve, was very excited to receive her $100 book voucher and said she “loved the Summer Reading Club and even read 14 books in one day”. Our runners-up who received a $50 book voucher each were Jonathan (11 years old) and Lucy (7 years old). With over 200 entries received we hope you enjoyed the Summer Reading Club and wish you all the best on your continued reading adventures.
The Children’s team are busy ensuring that our young Waverley community can remain engaged, creative and inspired by providing weekly take home craft packs and an array of suggested reading material. Next time you are in the library stocking up on your book supply be sure to grab a pack to keep those little hands active at home. Why not also borrow a book, or five, to compliment the weekly craft activity?
