Click here 12 February 2022 Dear Resident or Family Member, COVID-19 Update for Residents and Families of Calvary Brighton-Le-SandsI am writing to inform you that seven (7) additional Preston House residents have tested positive ifor COVID-19 in the latest round of testing at Calvary Brighton-Le-Sands. In line with Public Health Unit advice and to keep our residents safe, Preston House is closed to visitors immediately, and will remain closed to visitors until Tuesday 15 February 2022. Preston House residents will remain in and continue to be cared for in their rooms for now. From Tuesday 15 February 2022, visitation will re-open for Preston House residents, consistent with Calvary’s Position Statement on Visiting in Aged Care, All other Brighton-Le-Sands residents except those in Preston House, may continue to receive visitors as outlined below. Our testing regime continues with residents over the next few days, and we will update you when the results become available. We will continue to liaise closely with Public Health Unit officials, who will make the decision about whether and when it is safe to remove the current restrictions. We anticipate our next communication to you will be after the weekend. Please contact the home to book a video call with your loved one, or if you have any concerns. Care packages for your loved ones may also be left with security. Please label them clearly. Thank you for your continued understanding and patience at this time.
