New Student Orientation Schedule is Live!The New Student Orientation (NSO) schedule is packed with events that prepare you for your Penn career! Take a peek at some of the many programs that you have to look forward to this week. Specific Population ProgrammingWhile all new students are invited to take part in NSO from August 24-29, there is also some specific population programming happening beginning on August 22. Be sure to use the filters on our NSO Events Calendar to find out about events that are specifically curated for you! Move-In InformationWe can't wait to welcome you to Penn! Haven't been to campus before? Check out this campus map for information about parking garages and street directions. In case you need to change your arrival time due to inclement weather or other unforeseen travel challenges, please email living@upenn.edu with any concerns. Specific Accommodation RequestsIf you would like to request any specific accommodations including fully accessible transportation to any NSO event, please contact Penn’s Disability Services by phone (215-573-9235) or email at disabilityservices@vpul.upenn.edu. Wellness Manager and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Dan Connolly, RDN, is available to speak with students with general nutrition questions and those with special dietary needs. West Philly & University City ToursWest Philadelphia and University City: Along with the Penn Campus, your new Penn home includes the West Philadelphia and University City areas! We encourage all first year students to take a tour of one of these areas on Friday, August 26 so that you can get familiar with the surrounding area around campus and your new community! Please make sure to doublecheck your Penn Violence Prevention (PVP) circle time on mynsoschedule.com so that you don't sign up for a tour during that time. We encourage sign ups in advance to ensure enough tour guides but we will welcome first years to join us the day of as well.
