To help keep our town safe, we need everyone to report any issues that take place. There are many ways you can communicate with us, including: Town Centre Radios: An active community radio network operates in the town centre providing an immediate communication channel between businesses, organisations, BID Wardens, the police, CCTV and Charter Walk. This is useful for non-emergency information sharing about live incidents and individuals of concern. DISC - Incident Reporting: All Burnley BID Levy Payers and Associate Members are encouraged to sign up to DISC to report and share intelligence and details of all incidents and suspects. This information helps us build a better picture of the issues we all face and builds up a database of the offenders so that we can all be on our guard. On the incident reports, some of the fields pre-populate for you and these reports can be converted to crime reports which the police receive. There are also many other ways you can report incidents including via the Council, Police, Love Clean Streets App, CrimeStoppers and Lancashire Victim Service. For more information on how best to report an issue in the town, please email Laura Diffey on laura.diffey@groundwork.org.uk or visit the link below.
