Did you know you can buy further shares in your home?
As a shared owner with Paradigm, you have the option to buy further shares of your home until you own 100%, although this could be subject to the terms of your lease. When you purchase more shares, your rent will be reduced to reflect the share you own. Contact our Sales team on 0300 303 8046 to find out more.

I live in a flat and my neighbour has a newborn baby that I can hear crying. It’s starting to affect me, I can’t relax in the evenings after work and it’s affecting my sleep, and I don’t know what to do.

Thanks for getting in touch. I’m sorry to hear this is affecting you, we know people who live in flats are more prone to hearing the noise of people around them.
Babies crying is not classed as antisocial behaviour, but it is affecting you, so we suggest taking the following steps:
Firstly, we always recommend people start by speaking to their neighbours about any issues, politely, and to explain their point of view. This is usually much more likely to resolve matters quickly and without ongoing problems.
If you feel the level of noise is above a normal level, then there is a Noise App you can find on your app store. You can record the noise and send it straight to us for review. We can then discuss with you if there is any action we can take. If you are worried about the welfare of a child, you should raise it with social services. We will also pass on any concerns if they are raised with us.

Playing our part in solving the housing crisis
In December of 2023, the Paradigm New Business team closed a total of 323 newly contracted future homes for our customers across five sites throughout our core region.
These newly contracted homes account for 65% of our target for the year completed in just one month and means we’ll be able to house an extra 323 families and individuals in the coming months.
All sites have homes available for both rent and shared ownership.

From roofing to plumbing, we have vacancies available at Paradigm to suit all trades.
As a Paradigm Technician working for our DLO (Direct Labour Operation), we’ll supply you with a fully equipped hybrid van and a fuel card to ensure you can get around easily.
