Planting a new church has always been a great step of faith. Despite that, members of Grace Lutheran Chinese congregation in Perth have taken that step to serve Chinese-speaking people in the suburb of Duncraig. This bold vision is being supported by an LCANZ Local Mission Fund grant. Read more

Four people have become pastors in the LCANZ in May, including two in the Northern Territory and two in South Australia. Justin Allen (3 May, Papunya NT), Abraham Poulson (4 May, Utju NT), Dr Tanya Wittwer (10 May, Adelaide SA), and Adam Morris (11 May, Aberfoyle Park SA) will all serve in their respective communities. Enrolments for Australian Lutheran College’s winter classes close on 16 June. Face-to-face intensives on Christian mission, preaching and moral theology are happening in June and July this year at St John’s Lutheran Church Southgate in Melbourne, Victoria.
