Get Ready for the Annual Meeting

At the Annual Meeting on October 30, LCLD Members will hear from Dr. Zach Mercurio, author and researcher on purposeful leadership; David Glasgow, executive director of NYU’s Meltzer Center; and New York Times columnist David Brooks. They’ll share insights on mattering at work, the future of inclusion in the legal profession, and leadership in uncertain times.

Mentoring the Next Generation of Lawyers

The LCLD Success in Law School Mentoring Program is officially underway. Mentees and Mentors have been matched, orientation is complete, and the first 1L Launchpad Webinar—featuring Mary Abbajay on time management—kicks off today. But more than 200 Mentees are still waiting for a Mentor—especially in Houston, Dallas, Miami, Philadelphia, DC, and New York/New Jersey.

Alumni Stay Connected Coast to Coast

LCLD Alumni have been active this fall, gathering for meetups in New York City, Indianapolis, Silicon Valley, Cincinnati, Seattle, and Raleigh. In Los Angeles, Alumni also came together for a community service project supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Los Angeles.
