This Tuesday, we officially opened the Bondi Junction Cycleway from Bondi Road to St James Road! The cycleway provides a safe riding environment for people of all ages and abilities, and connects to other local bike routes around the eastern suburbs and beyond.
We're planting over 400 trees across Waverley’s parks and nature strips, thanks to $50,000 worth of funding from the NSW Government’s Greening our City Program – Cooler Streetscapes. Council is actively working to protect Waverley from rising temperatures and one of the ways we’re achieving this is by planting trees.
