Welcome to the North Auckland state highway maintenance roadworks update.

In this e-news, we share updates on roadworks across the state highway network from State Highway 16 (SH16) between north of Woodhill to Wellsford and State Highway 1 (SH1) between north of Warkworth to Wellsford.

Upcoming roadworks

State highways with scheduled works this week:

  • SH16 – Tauhoa and Makarau to Kaukapakapa

Note: Roadworks may be postponed due to rain or other factors that disrupt the weekly schedule.

State Highway 16 – Woodhill to Wellsford

State Highway 16 – Tauhoa

  • Monday 8 December to Friday 12 December, during the day, 7am – 5pm.
  • Due to subsidence repairs, one lane closure with stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place.

State Highway 16 – Makarau to Kaukapakapa (north of West Coast Road to south of Jordan Road)

  • Monday 8 December to Friday 12 December, during the day, 7am – 5pm.
  • Due to pre-seal repairs at several small sites between the above locations, one lane closure with stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place.

State Highway 16 – Kaukapakapa (near Jordan Road and Basil Orr Road)

  • Sunday 7 December to Wednesday 10 December, during the night, 8pm – 5am.
  • Due to road repairs, one lane closure with stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place.
 

 

State Highway 1 – Warkworth to Wellsford

No significant works scheduled for this week.
