The purpose of Reimagining sessions is to facilitate community driven change, through redesigning how health and well-being services are delivered in Porirua for equitable outcomes.

REIMAGINING DENTAL IN PORIRUA

Reimagining Dental for *Māmā/Papa, Pēpē and Rangatahi.

Join us in Reimagining Dental accessibility and affordability for Māmā/Papa, Pēpē and Rangatahi. It is widely acknowledged that accessing and receiving dental services for our Māmā/Papa, Pēpē, and Rangatahi in Porirua is not working well, resulting in the deterioration oral health and of their overall health and well-being.

*primary caregiver of child/children

We need 12 people with first-hand experience to participate in a focus group.

What to Expect:

• Engaging in brave conversations
• Sharing your experiences
• Brainstorming innovative solutions
• Making recommendations for new ways of doing things.

Who should attend:

To build an appropriate inclusive and accessible dental care environment that values and meets the needs of our diverse community, we need a variety of people living in Porirua with different lived experiences in using or supporting Māmā/Papa, Pēpē or Rangatahi with their dental needs.

Focus group reimaging session dates:

• Monday 26^th – Wednesday 28^th June, 9.30am – 2.30pm @ Freedom Church – Cannons Creek

Optional:

• Thursday 29^th June, 9.30am– 2.30pm @ 188 Corinna Avenue, Waitangirua
• Friday 30th June,  9.30am – 2.30pm @ Takapūwāhia TBC  

Focus group members will be compensated for their time at $150 per day with lunch provided.

If you are keen to be involved but unable to join the focus group, kei te pai, there will be opportunities for everyone to give their thoughts and ideas through our walk-through sessions.

• Friday 30^th June, 9.30 – 2.30 @ Takapūwāhia TBC
