    From Yackandandah Visitor Information Centre

    Hello everyone,

What a weekend that was! The unofficial long weekend brought some wild weather — a true taste of spring in the high country. But with the skies clearing and sunshine returning, it’s the perfect time to get out and enjoy everything our fabulous town has to offer.

This Saturday, the much-loved Yackandandah Town Garage Sale is back. Grab a map (available from the Yackandandah Primary School basketball courts from 8:00am) and set off on foot to uncover hidden treasures throughout town.

Then on Sunday, head to Vivienne Cate for their Spring/Summer Fashion Parade - a stylish afternoon of fashion, food and bubbles, perfect for catching up with friends and seeing what’s trending for the season.

Looking ahead, mark your calendar for Sunday 7 December, when the Yack Women’s Shed hosts the fifth annual Community Christmas Fair at the Soldiers Memorial Garden (8:30am–1:00pm). Expect handmade gifts, live entertainment, kids’ activities and plenty of festive cheer.

As the holiday season approaches, we’re already receiving enquiries about which businesses will be open over Christmas and New Year. To help visitors plan their stay, we’re compiling our annual list of local opening hours. We'd love all businesses to be included, so please contact our team at the Information Centre with your operating hours.

    Best wishes,

The Yackandandah Visitor Information Centre Team
