Each year, as Māhuru Māori and Te Wiki o te Reo Māori roll around, we witness a growing wave of enthusiasm and engagement with te reo Māori. It's truly inspiring! This is the noble goal that Te Māngai Pāho and our vibrant te reo Māori community tirelessly pursue. In just a few days, a new government will take the reins. Given the current climate, it's quite possible that we'll face increased challenges in our quest to realize our te reo Māori aspirations. However, our hope remains unwavering: no matter the obstacles we encounter, we will stand firm on the path that began with the Petition. Mauriora!
