Here in West Hartford, we honor that same spirit of civic duty when we step forward to serve our community through public office. Local government is the foundation of our democracy, and each voice, each vote, and each volunteer matters. That’s why I’m reaching out today: to encourage members of our community to consider running for West Hartford Town Council or helping the campaigns of those who will be running. Now Accepting Town Council Candidate ApplicationsThe West Hartford Republican Town Committee (WeHa RTC) is currently accepting applications for candidates interested in running for Town Council in this year’s municipal election. If you care about the future of West Hartford—our schools, our neighborhoods, our taxes, and our quality of life—this is your chance to lead. Per Connecticut State GOP rules, the WeHa RTC must submit our endorsed candidates to the West Hartford Town Clerk's office no later than Wednesday, July 23, 2025, by 4:00 PM ET.
