SH11 Lemon's Hill is CLOSED to all traffic
SH11 at Lemon's Hill is closed to all traffic until further notice.
Unfortunately, a tree adjacent to the slip site has fallen this afternoon.
The road will remain closed until we're able to remove the tree tomorrow and undertake geotechnical assessment and safety checks.
Road users will need to use the alternative route via State Highways 1, 10 and 11. Drivers should allow up to 30 minutes extra for the journey between Kawakawa and Paihia.
