From Small Groups to Student Missionaries

It’s small group season at Pioneer! Discipleship comes in many forms across our campus and our church. One of the most common is the small group. It’s seen in Sabbath Schools, in Grow Groups and the natural connections people form around friendships and common interests. I think about how Jesus utilized the table and fellowship to craft intimate moments of discipleship with those he was closest to. Think about his feet being anointed and the aroma wafting through the house during what could be considered a small group meeting.

Update #11 Renovate 2.0

The fundraising is almost completed! The Pioneer Memorial Church members and community have demonstrated their commitment to “Love On The Move”. The sacrificial giving for this improvement is inspiring to those who are using the elevator (and the other improvements) and to the Pastoral staff and Stewardship Committee. There is only $72,211 to raise! Thank you so much! Let us press forward to complete Renovate 2.0!

2023 Contribution Statements

Income Tax Time is upon us! This is also a great time to confirm that Pioneer has your current contact information. We will soon be preparing your 2023 contribution statements, and by default, your contribution statements for 2023 will be sent to you electronically by email, unless you have indicated that you prefer to receive them by mail via the US Postal Service. Please ensure that we have your correct email address on file. The deadline for changes of address is Friday, January 26, 2024. Grow Groups Leaders Wanted

Senior Citizens' Dinner at Andrews Academy

All Adventist Seniors of Michiana (ASM) and those who are at least 55 years of age, along with their spouses, are encouraged to attend the Senior Citizens' Dinner at Andrews Academy Commons at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, for food and fellowship, along with a wonderful program by the academy students and staff, Start 2024 off right by your physical and monetary support of our very own academy (high school) right here in our own community!

Wind Symphony and Brass Band Concert for
Saturday Evening Canceled

Weather has limited rehearsal time for both the AU Wind Symphony and the SMC Brass Band. As a result, our concert for January 27, 2024 is canceled. Tickets already purchased will be refunded soon. "Swimming Through the Storm"

Pioneer Women’s Ministries presents "Swimming Through the Storm" with speaker Darlene Anderson. This event will take place Saturday, February 24 at 4 PM in the Pioneer Commons. Sign-in will start at 3:30 PM.
Soups/Crudités/Breads/Drinks will be served. Darlene Anderson will present on identifying and developing strengths that will help us thrive and be joyful in the good times and that will give us hope and resilience during the inevitable storms of life. She will also cover how we can help others through difficult times.
