We're welcoming the warmer weather with more parks and gardens!
The days are getting warmer and the park picnics are calling. We've been busy doubling the size of the beloved Cambridge Street Reserve in Collingwood and creating more green space with new play equipment, bike facilities and areas to gather and relax. Construction is also underway for a brand new pocket park in Otter Street with extensive seating, native trees and an upgraded toilet facility. We're proudly delivering these projects with the support of the Victorian Government, with construction set to finish later this year.
Keeping Edinburgh Gardens green and lush all year long
We've installed a new sediment trap as part of our Edinburgh Gardens Stormwater Harvesting Scheme! We partnered with City West Water to upgrade this stormwater facility – saving millions of litres of water, improving water quality and keeping Edinburgh Gardens' greenery thriving. The new sediment trap will improve the stormwater facility by treating and purifying the water. This is all part of our Integrated Water Management Plan, which helps protect our waterways and local habitat, improve storm water quality and much more!
