Important COVID-19 Staff Update: Calvary Robina RiseDate: 19 January 2022 To: All Staff – Calvary Robina Rise From: Bryan McLoughlin, Regional CEO – NSW & QLD
Following our last update, I am writing to inform you of changes to our visitor restrictions at Calvary Robina Rise, introduced in line with recent Public Health Unit advice. I am pleased to let you know that Ocean, Level 1 and Level 2 at Robina Rise will be open to visitors from Thursday 20 January 2022, subject to the guidelines below. Unfortunately due to the ongoing risk of transmission in the home, Level 3 will remain closed to visitors until it is deemed safe by the Public Health Unit to open or lift current restrictions. What do residents, families and staff need to know? - Calvary Robina Rise Ocean Levels 1 and 2 will re-open to visitors from 20 January 2022.
- Level 3 remains closed to visitors at this time.
- To ensure all residents and families have fair access and time for their visitations, we are restricting visits to ONE per week (over the next 7 day period), per resident.
- For now, we kindly ask that families book
visits with us via the instructions below.
- In line with Calvary’s recent visitor update of 29 December 2021, one single nominated visitor only will be permitted per resident during the home’s visiting hours. This is due to the continuing heightened risk of infection and will be in place until further notice.
- Visitation exceptions may be made for residents receiving end of life care, residents who may be experiencing distress, or where a special care and support role is provided.
- Visitors must consent to a RAT test before being allowed entry to the home, complete the usual check-in procedures, and wear full PPE provided by the home for the duration of the visit.
- RAT testing and the usual check-in procedures can take up to half an hour, before visitors are permitted entry to the home. We have kindly asked for their
patience as we manage these important screening procedures.
Booking visits - information for families - Visitors are asked to email kristi.cleland@robinarise.com.au to request a visitor
booking.
- Visitors are asked to include the following information in their email: requested date and time, name of resident and room number, visitors name and attach proof of their COVID vaccination.
- Visiting hours are from Monday to Friday from 9:30am with last entry at 3:30pm. All visitors are asked to leave the home by 5.00pm.
- Please note, no visitors will be permitted entry on Wednesday 26
January 2022 due to it being a Public Holiday.
Thank you for ensuring our residents continue to receive the safest possible care over this time.
