You'll also have the chance to get your general questions answered during the session by one of our service leads, so it's a great opportunity to get clarity on anything you're unsure about!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our service charge and estates webinar earlier this month! We’re glad to be able to provide a chance to hear from our experts about your service charges and how they’re calculated. If you weren't able to attend, you can watch the full recording here. What to expect when you report anti-social behaviour (ASB)We know ASB can be upsetting and frustrating. When you report ASB to us, we take it seriously. We review the information, speak to those involved and work with other agencies to take whatever action we can. To help you better understand the process, we’ve created a new video with our team. It explains what our Community Safety team does, and what you can expect when you report ASB - we've used noise as an example. It also sets out what action we cannot take immediately, and why some cases can take some time. You can watch this below, or click here to read more. Staying #SaferTogether
Fire door safety You can find out what to look for, and how to report faulty fire doors here. Keeping communal areas free of belongings
Keeping safe from lead in your home When these materials are in good condition, they do not present a risk. Problems arise when old paint flakes or when materials containing lead are sanded, scraped or disturbed. Safety reminders
Remember that phone calls with our teams may be recorded. This is for training, monitoring, and safeguarding purposes, to keep both you and our staff safe. Protecting your belongings with home contents insurance
As your landlord, we are responsible for providing buildings insurance, but it is your own responsibility to arrange your own home contents insurance to help protect your possessions. No matter how careful you are, there’s always a risk that your belongings could be broken, damaged, or stolen. Home contents insurance can cover items such as furniture, carpets, curtains, clothes, bedding, electrical items, jewellery, pictures and ornaments. In many cases it can also cover you if you take items out of your home (on a holiday, for example). Quick links |
