Our service and sector lines continually expand with our divisions working together to deliver real value to our clients across our 14 offices. With this momentum, it is well timed that we have just celebrated a significant milestone - 40 Years of Fyfe. We’ve recently won some interesting projects ranging from supporting the Hallett Group on their green cement project with expert survey, civil and structural engineering services at their Port Augusta facility to a bridge remediation project for South Australia’s Northern Areas Council and providing the South Australian Department for Infrastructure and Transport with engineering design for a new overtaking lane and road intersection on Kangaroo Island. On the energy front, work has commenced providing engineering design services for Arrow Energy in the Kogan North field in the Surat Basin in Queensland. We are involved in a number of promising hydrogen projects around the country, insights of which we have shared below. Further south, we provided environmental services to support our client, Downer with Project EnergyConnect where renewable energy will be shared across South Australia and New South Wales’ energy networks for the very first time. We’re excited to have our new Mapper+ LiDAR unit operating around the country and delivering incredibly detailed geospatial information to our clients across all sectors. A wonderful complement to our services in the Hunter Valley region is the addition of Quintec Survey Solutions who have recently joined Fyfe. Andrew Quinn and his team specialise in engineering and surveying in the civil, construction, and infrastructure sectors. Fyfe is at home working on complex projects with myriad considerations and requirements. Learn more about our projects and insights below. Sincerely, Gary Spence, Managing Director Fyfe's work in the hydrogen sector continues to increase as does our interest and know-how in power-to-gas (P2G) to convert power from renewable sources to hydrogen, and the infrastructure required by energy companies for the proposed east-coast hydrogen 'superhighway'. The United States Force Posture Initiatives (USFPI) are part of Australia’s ongoing defence alliance with the United States. Fyfe is providing a range of services to support the large-scale USFPI Northern Territory Training Areas and Ranges Upgrades project. Our civil, structural and environmental experts have been busy assisting Clarke Energy with the Iberdrola Bolivar Power Station Project, ensuring a smooth relocation and set up of the new Bolivar Station. Project EnergyConnect, to be delivered by South Australia’s Transmission Network Service Provider ElectraNet, will see a new high-voltage electricity interconnector directly link the South Australia and New South Wales energy networks for the first time ever. Imported from France, and one of very few of its kind in Australia, Fyfe’s YellowScan Mapper+ allows us to generate incredibly detailed 3D models of terrain, vegetation, buildings, and infrastructure. Our new high-powered LiDAR unit supports our survey and geospatial work across the country. Fyfe has been working for the managing contractor of Australia Pacific LNG (APLNG) gas gathering and infrastructure operations in the Surat Basin since 2018, completing over 600 wells in the region. Services include GIS, survey, environmental analysis, geospatial database management, and engineering design. We recently celebrated our 40-year milestone. Starting in 1982 as a small Adelaide surveying company, today, Fyfe is a fully integrated engineering, environment, planning, and survey firm delivering projects in the defence, energy and resources, infrastructure, and property sectors.
