Western among top 2% in world for sustainability

Western ranks among the top two per cent of universities globally for sustainability, securing 30th place worldwide and 4th in Canada in the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025. This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to academic and campus sustainability efforts.

City of London adopts Western EDI training

The City of London has acquired online training on antisemitism and Islamophobia developed by Western's Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, helping fulfill the university’s commitment to creating positive change beyond campus.

Alum makes Indigenous foods accessible

Registered dietitian and alum Marley Fisher, BSc'17, is working to bring traditional Indigenous foods to hospital menus, addressing gaps in food access for Indigenous Peoples and inspiring future generations by sharing her knowledge with students.

Instructor Onboarding to Classroom Technology workshops
Join the WTS Classroom Technology Group to learn more about AV for a seamless teaching experience. Two sessions will be offered Jan. 10 for new instructors or those teaching in a new general-use classroom. Register online for session one or session two.
