New findings by biology professor Liana Zanette and University of Minnesota's lion expert Craig Packer show that elephants, rhinos, giraffes and other wildlife dread people far more than lions, adding a new dimension to the impact of humans on the environment.

A new study from Western researchers found elementary school teachers across Canada and the U.S. struggled to deliver their full curriculum through remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, with students from lower-income households more likely to experience learning losses.
