Date:   21 May 2022

To:       All staff at Calvary St Paul's Retirement Community

From:  Sandeep Kandel - General Manager Aged Care

I am pleased to inform staff that all tested Calvary St Paul’s residents have received negative results from the latest round of testing. In line with Public Health Unit advice, we now are able to declare the outbreak over and lift the current visitation restrictions at Calvary St Paul’s.

Consistent with Calvary’s Position Statement on Visiting in Aged Care Calvary St Paul’s will welcome more visitors back into the home from 21 May 2022.

Information for visitors

  • Calvary St Paul’s is open to more visitors from 21 May 2022.
  • There is now no limit to the number of visitors allowed per resident, per day.
  • Visiting hours are between 11.00am and 6.00pm.
  • Visitors will be required to complete screening requirements prior to entry and wear appropriate PPE (including face mask and shield) whilst visiting. PPE is provided by Calvary.
  • As a precaution to keeping residents safe, visitors may be required to have a rapid antigen test (RAT test) before entering the home.

Thank you for all that you have done to ensure our residents continued to receive the safest possible care, with such empathy and compassion over this challenging time. Your hard work is appreciated.

We all look forward to receiving more visitors back into the home.
