Tēnā koe and welcome to the Northland Corridor newsletter.

Thank you to everyone who has given us feedback on the tolling proposal for Warkworth to Te Hana. If you haven’t yet provided your feedback and you would like to, consultation closes on 15 April. Please read on for how to submit your feedback.

For landowners between Waipū and Whangārei in the preferred route, you should now have received your letter with an invitation to book in your individual meeting with the project team. These meetings will take place between April – July this year. Meetings will be held at a local venue in Whangārei, Ruakākā, Waipū or online.

These meetings are an opportunity to discuss indicative land impact plans for individual properties, geotechnical and environmental assessments, and outline the next steps toward route protection and discuss individual requirements. If you haven’t already signed up and you would like to meet with us, please see the information in your letter on how to book your meeting with the project team.

Reminder: Tolling consultation for Warkworth to Te Hana

We’d like your feedback on a proposal to toll Warkworth to Te Hana, part of the Northland Corridor project.

Warkworth to Te Hana will connect to the Pūhoi to Warkworth motorway, delivered as a Public Private Partnership (PPP). Any tolling revenue will contribute to the annual amount we need to pay the PPP following the opening of the motorway. It'll free up money in the National Land Transport Fund to invest in other important transport infrastructure projects.
