A submission of behalf of Australian cotton growers and the broader industry has been lodged as part of the APVMA’s review into the use of paraquat and diquat. Cotton Australia's Jennifer Brown was among 12 women who graduated from the nationally recognised Diversity in Agriculture Leadership Program (DiALP). Reflecting on her experience, Jennifer said, "I’ve learned through the DiALP to view leadership as a service to others, rather than just a title. My mentor helped me recognise the value of my skills and expertise, giving her the confidence to explore new opportunities within her role and reflect on her overall impact." The two-day event, run by AgForce’s School to Industry Partnership Program, was recently held in Toowoomba, showcasing all aspects of the agriculture industry to school students.
