KIDS PROGRAMS

This week explore the fascinating world of animal habitats. We have been inspired by the story Sticks & Stones Animal Homes which can be viewed for free through Story Box Library online.

The team have also created a pretty peacock craft for you and your children to create at home. If you are interested in one of our craft packs, come into the children’s library during opening hours and ask one of our friendly staff at the desk. You might also like to pick up an animal themed book from our display to borrow and take home. If you would prefer to Grab n Go simply email and we will place a craft pack and a suggested book title aside for you to collect.

DRUG INGO

VAPING AND YOUNG PEOPLE

NSW Health is very concerned about the uptake of vaping by young people. The use of e-cigarettes in young people, aged 16 to 24, has increased substantially. One of the concerning statistics show that young people who use e-cigarettes are more likely to go on to smoke cigarettes. Further research has suggested that young people are more easily susceptible to nicotine addiction than adults. Click here to find out more.
