Detours for northbound traffic SH1 in place Friday & Saturday this week
From Friday 26 April, 7.00am to 7.00pm, and Saturday 27 April 2019, 7.00am to early afternoon, northbound traffic on SH1 (Main South Road) will need to take a detour.
This affects SH1 between Hoskyns Road and Dawsons Road. Traffic will be detoured via Weedons Ross, Jones and Dawsons Road (see map below).
This is to complete the work that was originally scheduled over the Easter break but had to be delayed due to the weather.
A separate detour for cyclists and pedestrians will be in place.
Southbound traffic will remain on SH1. Major works will be undertaken over this period, so delays should be expected.
Please be alert to changes in the traffic management, follow all on-site signage and drive to the conditions.
