Upcoming roadworks

State highways with scheduled works this week:

• SH1 – Whangārei to Kawakawa
• SH1 – Topuni to Whangārei
• SH11 - Paihia between Bayview Road and Williams Road
• SH12 - Paparoa, near Petley Road

Note: Roadworks may be postponed due to rain or other factors that disrupt the weekly schedule.

State Highway 1 - Kawakawa to Cape Reinga

No significant works scheduled for this week.

State Highway 1 – Whangārei to Kawakawa

State Highway 1 – Akerama: Sealing of the northbound lanes is expected to be completed by the end of May, weather permitting. The southbound lanes' rebuild is rescheduled for the next construction season due to wet conditions.

State Highway 1 – Maromuka – North of Callaghan Road

• Tuesday 3 June, during the night, 8pm – 5am.
• Due to road repairs in this area, stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place.

State Highway 1 – Hukerenui – near Hukerenui Road

• Tuesday 3rd June – 6th June, during the night, 8pm – 5am.
• Due to drainage maintenance in this area, stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place..

State Highway 1 – Towai - Kauri

• Tuesday 3rd June – 6th June, during the night, 8pm – 5am.
• Due to seal maintenance in this area, stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place.

State Highway 1 - Topuni to Whangārei

State Highway 1 – Otaika - near Porland Road

• Tuesday 3 June – Friday 6 June, during the night, 8pm – 5am.
• Due to drainage maintenance in this area, stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place.

State Highway 10

No significant works scheduled for this week.

State Highway 11

State Highway 11 – Paihia between Bayview Road and Williams Road

• Monday 5 May – Friday 6 June, during the day.
• Due to Seawall extension & footpath repairs, one lane, northbound closed.
• Detour via Williams/Selwyn/Bayview for northbound.
• Reduced speed of 30km/h at all times.

State Highway 12

State Highway 12 – Paparoa, near Petley Road

• Monday 2 – Tuesday 3 June, during the night, 8pm – 5am.
• Due to road repair in this area, stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions will be in place.

State Highway 14

No significant works scheduled for this week.

State Highway 15

No significant works scheduled for this week.
