It has been a busy and productive quarter at Fyfe, which looks set to continue well into 2024 with several significant projects on the horizon. Our Property and Infrastructure team continues to be involved in the planning, design, and delivery of major road and intersection upgrades and multi-stage residential developments, such as Newenham Estate, SA, as outlined below. In the energy sector, we will commence work on two large gathering projects. Meanwhile, our hydrogen projects are progressing well with the completion of FEED for a Hydrogen Hub and Refueling Station in QLD, and more opportunities are emerging. We also recently welcomed Emanden Technical Solutions with a team of 20 to enhance our engineering service offerings. Highlighted below are some of the engineering and integrated services we provided to our clients this year, including commissioning services for the mining sector and our involvement in the offshore brownfields carbon capture and storage project in Darwin, a key step towards carbon neutrality by 2050. In survey and GIS, our teams around the country have been kept busy working on various projects, including the Northern Territory Government’s Tiger Brennan Drive and Berrimah Road overpass project. Our reality capture services, particularly terrestrial laser scanning technology, are in demand. As we head into the festive season, I’d like to take the opportunity to thank all Fyfe clients on behalf of the Fyfe team. Five-star service with passion and integrity results in client success and our own, allowing us to continue growing as one of Australia’s leading multidisciplinary firms. We look forward to working with you in 2024. Gary Spence Adelaide-based engineering consultancy Emanden Technical Solutions has joined Fyfe. Emanden's experience servicing clients and turnkey contractors spans sectors including energy and resources, renewables, power generation, and mining, further strengthening our expertise in these fields. Fyfe specialises in engineering commissioning services in the mining sector. Our highly experienced engineers make sure all stages of commissioning, from construction completions, to hot or wet commissioning and performance testing, are completed to your operational requirements. To achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, the global community must capture 5.6 billion tonnes of CO2 each year. We're proud to provide Santos with engineering design services that are supporting the Bayu Undan CCS project. By capturing intricate details of landscapes and structures, cutting-edge terrestrial laser scanning technology offers accuracy down to the finest data point, giving our clients the important information they need for informed decision-making. Designing and constructing a large residential development always presents a few challenges, more so when the property’s natural features include a creek, a large central wetland and extreme differences between the steepness of each allotment. Our environmental scientists, engineers, and GIS analysts have helped clients in Australia's most significant basins, supporting the development of wells alongside gas and water gathering networks, including providing in-depth environmental plans for each detailed engineering design. |
