SH76 Christchurch Southern Motorway closure detour

Christchurch Southern Motorway detour this weekend

This weekend the Christchurch Southern Motorway will be closed on:

• Saturday 26 June – 5am to midday, and
• Sunday 27 June – 5am to midday.

Signed detours will be in place on State Highway 1 Main South Road and Halswell Junction Road.

Please allow a little more travel time – we estimate between 5-10 minutes.

Also, coming up next weekend, Christchurch Northern Corridor will be closed on:

• Saturday 3 July from 5am to midday, and
• Sunday 4 July from 5am to midday.

Signed detours will be in place on State Highway 74m Main North Road and Queen Elizabeth II Drive.

Again, please allow a little more travel time – we estimate between 3-11 minutes.

The closures are for a filming event and are subject to weather conditions.
