New Meeting Location: Due to scheduling adjustments, the January meeting of the West Hartford Republican Town Committee, originally set to take place at the West Hartford Town Hall, will now be held at:

While snow is expected on Sunday night into early Monday morning, forecasts indicate that it will clear up by mid-morning Monday, and we anticipate no issues with holding our evening meeting. Please plan accordingly and join us as we kick off the year.

Presidential Inauguration: Monday afternoon also marks the Presidential inauguration, an inspiring culmination of everyone’s hard work. While we are not hosting a formal watch party due to the timing of our evening meeting, I encourage you to take time to watch and celebrate this important moment for our nation.

Meeting Agenda Highlights: The agenda for the meeting is attached, but I want to call your attention to a few key items:

1. Justice of the Peace Renewals: For those serving as Justices of the Peace in West Hartford, renewals are required. Once your renewal is processed, you will receive a notice from the Town Hall to come in and be sworn in. Please make sure to handle this promptly to avoid expiration of your license.

2. March Trivia Night Planning: We’ll begin planning our next trivia night, scheduled for March, with a festive St. Patrick’s Day theme. Join the discussion and help us make it a memorable event.

3. Municipal Election Updates: We will provide an update from the November advisory committee meeting and discuss next steps for the municipal election process. Your input will be critical as we refine our strategy.

Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.: As we gather on the day honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., let us take a moment to reflect on his incredible contributions to America and the Republican Party. Dr. King’s vision of equality, justice, and unity continues to inspire us as we work to uphold these principles in our community and nation.
