Sunday 13 September – Saturday 19 September

Friday 11 September

• Full closure of the Great South Road end of Spartan Road between from 9pm and 5am. No access to Spartan Road from Great South Road.

Saturday 12 September

• Full closure of the Great South Road end of Spartan Road between 9pm and 5am. No access to Spartan Road from Great South Road.

Sunday 13 September

• Full closure of all northbound lanes from Papakura to Takanini between 10pm and 5am. This includes full closure of all northbound on-ramps at Beach Road and Beach Road Loop and the Takanini off-ramp between 9pm and 5am.
• Closure of Takanini southbound off-ramp and on-ramp between 9pm and 5am.
• Partial closure of Great South Road eastbound at Takanini interchange between 9pm and 5am. Motorists will still be able to travel through Great South Road but will experience a lane layout change.
• Full closure of the Great South Road end of Spartan Road between 9pm and 5am. No access to Spartan Road from Great South Road.

Monday 14 September

• Full closure of all northbound lanes from Papakura to Takanini between 10pm and 5am. This includes full closure of all northbound on-ramps at Beach Road and Beach Road Loop and the Takanini off-ramp between 9pm and 5am.
• Closure of Takanini southbound off-ramp and on-ramp between 9pm and 5am.
• Partial closure of Great South Road eastbound at Takanini interchange between 9pm and 5am. Motorists will still be able to travel through Great South Road but will experience a lane layout change.
• Full closure of the Great South Road end of Spartan Road between 9pm and 5am. No access to Spartan Road from Great South Road.

Tuesday 15 September

• Full closure of all northbound lanes from Papakura to Takanini between 10pm and 5am. This includes full closure of all northbound on-ramps at Beach Road and Beach Road Loop and the Takanini off-ramp between 9pm and 5am.
• Closure of Takanini southbound off-ramp and on-ramp between 9pm and 5am.
• Partial closure of Great South Road eastbound at Takanini interchange between 9pm and 5am. Motorists will still be able to travel through Great South Road but will experience a lane layout change.
• Full closure of the Great South Road end of Spartan Road between 9pm and 5am. No access to Spartan Road from Great South Road.

Wednesday 16 September

• Full closure of all northbound lanes from Papakura to Takanini between 10pm and 5am. This includes full closure of all northbound on-ramps at Beach Road and Beach Road Loop and the Takanini off-ramp between 9pm and 5am.
• Full closure of all southbound lanes from Manukau to Takanini between 10pm and 5am. This includes full closure of all southbound on-ramps including Redoubt Road, Lambie Drive, SH20-1 Link between 9pm and 5am.
• Partial closure of Great South Road eastbound at Takanini interchange between 9pm and 5am. Motorists will still be able to travel through Great South Road but will experience a lane layout change.
• Full closure of the Great South Road end of Spartan Road between 9pm and 5am. No access to Spartan Road from Great South Road.

Thursday 17 September

• Full closure of all northbound lanes from Papakura to Takanini between 10pm and 5am. This includes full closure of all northbound on-ramps at Beach Road and Beach Road Loop and the Takanini off-ramp between 9pm and 5am.
• Closure of Takanini southbound off-ramp and on-ramp between 9pm and 5am.
• Partial closure of Great South Road eastbound at Takanini interchange between 9pm and 5am. Motorists will still be able to travel through Great South Road but will experience a lane layout change.
• Full closure of the Great South Road end of Spartan Road between 9pm and 5am. No access to Spartan Road from Great South Road.

Friday 18 September

• Full closure of the Great South Road end of Spartan Road between 9pm and 5am. No access to Spartan Road from Great South Road.

Saturday 19 September

• Full closure of the Great South Road end of Spartan Road between 9pm and 5am. No access to Spartan Road from Great South Road.

Sunday 20 September – Thursday 24 September

• Full closure of all northbound lanes from Papakura to Takanini between 10pm and 5am. This includes full closure of all northbound on-ramps at Beach Road and Beach Road Loop and the Takanini off-ramp between 9pm and 5am.
• Closure of Takanini southbound off-ramp and on-ramp between 9pm and 5am.
• Multi-lane closure of Great South Road eastbound and westbound at Takanini interchange between 9pm and 5am.
• Full closure of the Great South Road end of Spartan Road between 9pm and 5am. No access to Spartan Road from Great South Road.

Looking Ahead

Weather and COVID-19 conditions permitting, full night time closures will continue, affecting sections of both northbound and southbound lanes of the Southern Motorway between Manukau and Papakura.
