Good morning,

We are coming to a close on our 10-day family worship series on obedience with day 9 today. We pray you've been blessed as you have gathered your family together for worship and that you'll continue to spend time each day together praying, reading God's Word, singing praises to God and/or memorizing Scripture. Review

• Obedience:
  • I will do what I'm told right away.
  • I will do what I'm told with a smile.
  • I will follow directions completely.

Memorize

• 1 Samuel 15:22b and Exodus 20:12.

Read

• Joshua 6:17-19 and Joshua 7

Discuss

• “Who disobeyed?"
• "What did he do?"
• "What were the consequences of his sin?" (Point out that when we disobey, we hurt other people too. All Israel suffered for Achan's disobedience. We may never know how many other people we hurt through our disobedience.)

Pray

• Pray to be obedient so we don't hurt others.
