local community. The camp, directed by Scott Schalk, provided Bible class, music, crafts, health and sports activities each day. Afternoons and evenings were spent with the children at the Hogar de Niños operated by REACH International. Read more
Update #11 Renovate 2.0 The fundraising is almost completed! The Pioneer Memorial Church members and community have demonstrated their commitment to “Love On The Move”. The sacrificial giving for this improvement is inspiring to those who are using the elevator (and the other improvements) and to the Pastoral staff and Stewardship Committee. There is only $43,673 to raise! Thank you so much! Let us press forward to complete Renovate 2.0!
Thank You! To our Pioneer church family and to everyone else who has extended their love and support. It has been more than a week since we lost everything in the fire, but since that day, the work of the Lord has been visible to us. Your prayers have given us peace, assurance, and courage. Your presence gave us comfort, determination, and joy. Your assistance and gifts overwhelmed us and feel so grateful for them. On the day when our house was on fire, I asked God “why?”. His reply
was quick and clear “Lailane, because I love you”. God uses my whole church family, and the community to show His love to us. We are grateful for all you’ve done for us. We may have lost everything we own materially, but we still have our 'HOME'… our home is our family, our church, our friends, our colleagues, all who prayed for us and extended their help. After a few days, I asked God again “God, what did I/we do to deserve these blessings?” and God reminded me that His blessings and promises do not come because of our worthiness, if so, then no one would ever be blessed. Jesus Christ has already made a way for us to receive every promise through his sacrifice on the cross. The love and care we experienced is a blessing from God through all of you. We hope and pray that God will continue to bless you as
you have blessed us with your love and care.
